Dr. Faham Khamesipour currently works and researches at various Iranian research centers and universities. Dr. Khamesipour researches veterinary medicine, parasitology, health policy, medical education, zoonotic diseases, and traditional medicine. He is the author of seven books and more than 110 peer-reviewed papers in the fields of microbiology, parasitology, zoonoses, herbal medicine, molecular studies, infection diseases, and pathology. He has received over 16 awards. Dr. Khamesipour is also an editor of many national and international journals and a reviewer for some international journals. He participated in 11 workshops and training courses, and 25 conferences. Dr. Khamesipour is a member of many associations. He is also the head and scientific secretary of the First National Congress on Zoonoses in Iran. Dr. Khamesipour is a high achiever, competent in his field, enthusiastic, and an elite member of the research/teaching community in Iran in the areas of parasitology, infectious diseases and zoonotic, herbal medicines, and food science, and veterinary biology. His government recognized him as a leader in his field, and he has received many awards, scholarships, and other accolades. He is proactive and ambitious and greatly contributes to the research and teaching environment.
