Azzuliani Supangat - Profile

Azzuliani Supangat earned her PhD from The University of Newcastle, Australia in 2012, where her thesis was focussed on the chemical vapour deposition system. She is an Associate Professor at the Department of Physics, Universiti Malaya and actively involved in research related to organic and inorganic semiconducting materials. She has been awarded with the prestigious SLAI-UM Fellowship, UI-RESOLV Program, Fulbright Scholar Award and AUA Scholar Award in 2007, 2016, 2017 and 2018, respectively. She has published more than 50 peer-reviewed ISI-cited publications, and secured more than 16 research grants as principal investigator. She has enormous experience in supervising postgraduate students (PhD & MSc) with topics of interest spanning across the field of fabrication, characterisation and application of both organic and inorganic semiconducting materials in electronic devices. Moreover, enhancing the environmentally friendly of lignocellulosic products via promoting and minimizing the toxicity of emitting gasses from artificial wood, Radiation shielding material, Ion exchanges, hydrogels for water treatment, RO-membrane for desalination of salted water.  The investigated techniques are complying the demands of our industries both economical beside environmentally friendly products, which promotes the market competition.
