Dr. Ferhat Mameri is a seasoned academician and professional in translation studies with an extensive educational background. He completed his Ph.D. in Translation Studies from the University of Constantine in 2006, following earlier studies at the University of Montreal, Canada, where he pursued his ABD and M.A. degrees. Dr. Mameri's academic journey began with a B.A. in Translation and Interpreting from the National Institute of Translation and Interpreting at the University of Algiers. With over two decades of experience in academia, he has held various teaching positions, starting as an Assistant Professor at the University of Constantine and progressing to roles such as Associate Professor, Full Professor, and Chair of the Department of Translation and Interpreting.

Throughout his career, Dr. Mameri has demonstrated a commitment to excellence in teaching and research. He has taught diverse courses at prestigious institutions such as the University of Nizwa, United Arab Emirates University, and the University of Constantine. His expertise spans translation technology, contrastive analysis, genre and text analysis, research methodology, and the fundamentals and theories of translation and interpreting. Dr. Mameri's contributions to the field extend beyond the classroom, as evidenced by his supervision of numerous graduate students' theses and doctoral dissertations. Additionally, to his credit, he has presented papers at various international conferences and has several publications, including book chapters and articles.
