Abstract: The paper is devoted to the consideration of the role of Internet communications in the political mobilization of citizens. Internet communications create new opportunities for interaction and association of citizens and significantly accelerate political mobilization. In the information age, the "orange revolutions", and other "colour revolutions" of the last century were replaced by high-tech "network revolutions". Among researchers, however, there is no unity in understanding the role of Internet communications in mobilizing the protest activity of the population. The article concludes that when assessing the role of Internet communications in political mobilization, it is important to take into account the fact that the Internet communications are not capable of causing revolutionary events, popular actions were generated by a number of socio-economic, political and ideological reasons. However, social networks and microblogging services have become new tools for mobilizing participants in protests, allowing campaigning and coordination among protesters. Abstract: Immigration detention is cementing into a permanent aspect of border and immigration control in the United Kingdom. This article uses a historical examination of internment to contribute to a larger literature that unsettles the official record of detention policy as a natural development in an otherwise functioning immigration and border control bureaucracy. In so doing, I present an original overview of the First World War, Second World War, and Gulf War internments. My research findings demonstrate that wartime powers legislated in times of national distress have been repackaged as seemingly quotidian tools of immigration and asylum control. The results of this normalisation have included the reinforcement of a false logic of differentiation between citizens and threats, and between “good” and “bad” migrants; and an instrumentalisation of national insecurity to curtail the movements and basic rights of all individuals. Abstract: Like many other western nations, New Zealand has experienced significant migration since the mid-1980s. According to the most recent census, roughly one out of every four persons living in New Zealand is foreign born. The significant number of migrants to New Zealand of Asian and Middle Eastern ancestries has led to the development of rich and diverse ethnic enclaves. However, young people from these communities experience significant pressures to assimilate into western culture, which sometimes clash with parental desires to perpetuate cultural traditions. Drawing on 10 small group interviews conducted with 11 adolescent and 16 young adult female interviewees of Asian and Middle Eastern backgrounds in Auckland, New Zealand, this study examines how participants traverse culturally prescribed gender roles as they relate to intimate partner violence (IPV). Emergent themes from the study address participants’ conceptualization of IPV, processes of learning IPV, and pressures to follow rigid gender-roles tied to IPV that are culturally embedded. The article closes with discussion on interpretation of research findings without perpetuating an Orientalist framework. Abstract: The relevance of the study is connected with its complex nature, giving an understanding of the vector of development of civil and commercial codifications in some Latin American countries, based on recent statutory regulations, which were not previously adequately reflected in the doctrine. From this perspective, therefore, this study fills the gap in the relevant knowledge. The author examines the features of the legal regime in certain Latin American countries to comprehend and show which trends prevail in a particular country and how this is reflected in the tasks of civil and commercial codifications. Thereby, the results obtained by the author are given in a comparative aspect in the context of Latin American legal experts’ ideas on the tasks of civil and commercial codifications concerning the legal recognition of the interpretation of the concept of “enterprise”. Abstract: The process of resource orchestration is one of the great techniques in achieving better business performance. It covers the process of structuring, bundling and leveraging resources properly, strategically and innovatively. This study, therefore, aims to analyze the relationship between resource orchestration and entrepreneurial success. The data of young entrepreneurs from PUNB have been collected and analyzed using SPSS. The findings have found that resource orchestration has a significant effect on entrepreneurial success. Therefore, it can be concluded that the role of resource orchestration can help to improve business performance. If an entrepreneur can manage resources strategically beside exploiting creativity and innovation to gain a competitive advantage, then, prosperity will be achieved.
